Silo Level Sensor
Silo level sensor converts the minimum or maximum material levels of the warehouse, bunker or silos into an electrical signal via rotary sensors and transmits the fill level. In industrial facilities, silo level sensors are divided into different types, such as motorized rotary flag, capacitive and vibrating, depending on the material to be measured and the system to be used.
Working Principle:
When the material reaches the measuring wheel, the wheel does not rotate. When the level falls below the radius of the measuring wheel, rotation begins and activates other system components. Top or side mounted switches are typically used for powdery or granular materials.
