Iris Valve
It is designed to control the flow of bulk solids, powders and granules and works by adjusting the flexible inner diaphragm to change the size of the opening. The flexible material in the body bends when the rotary lever is moved, cutting off the flow completely. When the handle is rotated, the valve body opens fully. In big bag unloading systems, the big bag is passed through the iris valve before the unloading port is opened and then the unloading port is opened. During the material flow, the iris valve can close the big bag discharge port to the desired extent and the material flow rate can be adjusted. If desired, the material flow can also be stopped completely.
